Mission Trip Fundraising Update

As you can see from the photos in this post, on one of my previous trips I had the opportunity to share the Love of Christ and document the ministry we were doing in action.  I plan to do the same thing this time around, as you support me, you are supporting our team, the lives we are going to touch as well as ensuring that you and many others will hear and see all that we were able to accomplish on this trip.
I'll be blogging and uploading photos and videos the entire time we are over there as well as much more of the same once we come back.

Thanks again for your continued support, I look forward to sharing all about our mission trip and the lives that were touched once we come back in August. To help our and support my fundraising campaign please click on the this link - http://www.gofundme.com/HelpRyanLead

Gone?

What if you woke up tomorrow and your family was gone?

"Gone?" you say, "what do you mean, gone?"
I mean gone, never to be seen again, dead, kidnapped, abandoned you...

If you knew that was going to happen tomorrow, what would you do, could you prevent it, could you apologize and set things right, what would you do?

Apply this thought process to your family going forward, you aren't promised another day with them, make the most of the time you have with them, and honor them, be the person God has called you to be. Have no regrets about where your relationships stand.

Leading a Missions Team

http://www.gofundme.com/HelpRyanLead
I'm helping to lead a missions team to Marienberg, Germany this summer (Leaving on August 1, 2014). Some of the primary work we will be doing while there includes assisting a recently planted church, providing building assistance to rural farmers and bringing aid and the Gospel message to Syrian Refugees.

Thousands of Syrians fleeing the civil war in their homeland have sought refuge in Germany, which has offered a temporary home to more refugees than any other European country.

I'm excited about this opportunity, I'm looking forward to all that we will be able to accomplish as a team not to mention the spiritual growth we are certain to experience through this endeavor.

As you can imagine the cost of a trip with this magnitude is quite substantial, airfare alone is nearly $1,500 per person. The total cost of this trip for our entire team may exceed $25,000. Any and all assistance that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Know that 100% of the funds you give will be used explicitly for this mission trip (minus the small % that GoFundMe and WePay charge).
Thanks again, and if you aren't able to support me monetarily, I'd like to as that you lift me as well as our entire team up in prayer as we move forward with this amazing ministry opportunity.

Ignite Series - "I Don't Know What I Believe"

Most of us know the basics. Big God. Baby Jesus. Our sin. The cross. The resurrection. But beyond that, many of us don’t really know much more about Christianity. Watch the video below and find out how Christian you are...or aren't...

We don’t actually have answers when we get asked about our beliefs. But in our new series I Don’t Know What I Believe, we’ll look at the foundation of our beliefs and build a Christ-centered confidence as we learn why we believe what we believe.

Our series will be rooted in 2 Timothy 1:9-14. Join us in Ignite on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. as we study and memorize this foundational scripture over the next few weeks.

"9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 11 And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. 12 That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. 13 What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us."

We're borrowing the bulk of this series from Elevation Church, special thanks to ChurchLeaders.com for putting us in contact with their resources.
